Ingredients
  

Ingredients for Ranch Dressing

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tablespoons ranch seasoning or 1 store-bought packet

Optional Homemade Ranch Seasoning (makes multiple batches):

  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sugar optional

Instructions
 

  • Add buttermilk and mayonnaise to a mason jar.
  • Add 1–2 tablespoons ranch seasoning (or one packet).
  • Secure the lid and shake well until smooth and fully combined.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let flavors blend.
