Instructions
Brown hamburger meat in a large pot and drain.
Dice onion and add to the hamburger meat. Cook until translucent.
In a separate small bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients to hamburger and onions. Sir until well incorporated.
Once onions are translucent, add cream cheese and stir until melted and well incorporated in the hamburger mixture.
Add the green chilies and tomatoes, beef stock and heavy cream.
Allow to simmer for at least 30 minutes.
Spoon into a bowl and top with your favorite ingredients (cheese, sour cream, green onions).
Notes
You can substitute the dry ingredients for 2 packets of taco seasoning.
