Super Easy Kitchenaid Banana Bread

This quick and easy recipe puts those overripe bananas to good use! This recipe calls for only 9 ingredients but you can easily make it your own by adding in extras such as: chocolate chips, raisins, cinnamon or walnuts.

Equipment

  • 1 Kitchenaid Mixer (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoom vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 overripe bananas

Optional Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil non-gmo such as grapeseed or avocado
  • walnuts
  • chocolate chips
  • raisins

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350℉
  • Grease your 8 x 4 loaf pan or line with parchment paper
  • Add flour, baking soda and salt to kitchenaid mixer and mix
  • In a separate bowl, mash bananas and mix in vanilla extract
  • Add melted butter to the banana and vanilla extract mixture and add this as well as the egg over the dry ingredients
  • Mix until you have a cake batter consistency
  • Pour batter into loaf pan
  • If you want a sugar crust, sprinkle desired amount of sugar over batter
  • Bake at 350℉ for 45-55 minutes
  • Allow bread to cool or enjoy it warm with a large glass of milk!

Notes

A mixer is not required for this recipe and is optional.  This will not be a thick batter and can easily be mixed by hand.  Store in plastic wrap or seal in an airtight container. This recipe is delicious warm or at room temperature.
