Lemon, Honey & Ginger Elixir

Equipment

  • high speed blender
  • Knife and cutting board
  • measuring spoons
  • Fine mesh strainer (optional)
  • Glass for serving

Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole lemon washed, quartered
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 small slice of fresh ginger

Instructions
 

  • Wash the lemon and quarter it. Slice a small piece of fresh ginger.
  • Add the lemon, raw honey, olive oil, water, cinnamon, and ginger into a blender. Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer.
  • Pour over ice or mix with room-temperature water for a warm version.

Notes

Tip: This recipe is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir well before serving.
