Instructions
Slice the peaches and remove the peach pit. Peel the peach skin if desired.
Place the peaches into an oven safe bowl that fits inside your Instant Pot.
Pour the melted butter over the peaches. Add the cinnamon, brown sugar, and arrowroot powder or cornstarch. Fold everything together gently with a spatula.
Sprinkle enough white cake mix over the top of the peaches to create a thick layer. Do not mix it into the peaches.
Arrange the thin slices of butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
Pour 1 cup water into the inner pot of the Instant Pot.
Place a foil sling into the Instant Pot so the bowl does not sit directly on the bottom.
Carefully lower the bowl into the Instant Pot using the foil sling.
Close the lid and seal the vent.
Cook on manual high pressure for 13 minutes.
Allow a natural release for 5 minutes, then carefully perform a quick release for the remaining pressure.
Use oven mitts to carefully remove the hot bowl from the Instant Pot.
Serve warm on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
