Healthy Cottage Cheese Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cottage cheese low-fat or full-fat
  • 2-3 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tbsp cocoa powder or cacao powder

  • Chia seeds
  • Peanut butter or almond butter
  • Dark chocolate shavings
  • Whipped cream

Instructions
 

  • Set up your blender or food processor. Ensure you have a spatula to scrape the sides for even blending.
  • Add the cottage cheese to the blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Add maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder. Blend again until fully combined and smooth.
  • Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness or chocolate flavor as needed. Blend briefly to mix.
  • Spoon the mousse into serving bowls. Garnish with your choice of toppings like fresh berries, chia seeds, or a drizzle of peanut butter.
  • For a firmer texture, refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
  • Storage Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
