Instructions
Press the sauté button on the instant pot. Add lean ground beef and brown using a wooden spoon in a criss-cross pattern.
Add diced onion and garlic, sautéing with the meat for a few minutes. Season with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Drain grease if desired.
Turn off the instant pot. Stir in the diced tomatoes. Layer spaghetti noodles over the meat in opposite directions.
Pour the jar of sauce over the noodles. Add 2 cups of water to the empty sauce jar, shake to get leftover sauce, and pour over pasta. Press noodles gently under the liquid without stirring.
Secure the lid and set the instant pot to manual mode, high pressure, for 8 minutes.
When cooking time is complete, perform a quick release. Open the lid carefully and stir the spaghetti, combining noodles and sauce.
Serve topped with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese if desired.
