Creamy Lavender Cold Foam Recipe

Homemade Lavender Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup dried lavender buds

Lavender Cold Foam

  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons lavender syrup

Instructions
 

  • Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  • Add the sugar and simmer until completely dissolved.
  • Stir in the dried lavender buds and remove the pan from the heat.
  • Allow the lavender to steep for 10-15 minutes.
  • Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer to remove the lavender buds.
  • Transfer the syrup to an airtight container and refrigerate until cooled.
  • Add the heavy cream, milk, and 2 tablespoons of lavender syrup to a mason jar or tall glass.
  • Froth with a handheld frother until thick, creamy, and foamy.
  • Pour the lavender cold foam over cold brew, iced coffee, a lavender latte, or your favorite coffee drink.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Store leftover homemade lavender syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
For a dairy-free version, substitute almond milk or another dairy-free milk.
Adjust the amount of lavender syrup to customize the level of sweetness.
A French press can be used to froth the cold foam if you do not have a handheld frother.
