Chicken Parmesan Bites with Garlic Aioli Sauce

Airfryer Chicken Parmesan Bites

Equipment

  • 1 airfryer
  • 1 mixing bowl or ziplock bag

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs boneless/skinless chicken thighs
  • zest of one lemon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or the juice of half a lemon
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place 1.5 lbs of cubed boneless skinless chicken thighs in an airtight container or Ziplock bag.
  • Add the zest of one lemon, 2 tbsp avocado oil, juice from half a lemon (or 1 tbsp), 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp parsley, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, and black pepper to taste.
  • Seal the container or bag and shake well to coat the chicken evenly.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket or tray with nonstick spray.
  • Arrange the marinated chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray.
  • Cook at 400°F for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the chicken pieces halfway through the cooking time.
  • Check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F using a meat thermometer.
  • Remove the chicken from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite sides and dipping sauces.
